In the end, I didn't vote for Bernie for a two big reasons.

1) While locally strong, perceived far left candidates right-or-wrong get slaughtered in the broader USA, and can't pull the house or Senate. And obviously the SCOTUS goes redder (or oranger.)

2) Like the republicans, he had no plan for taxation to back his revolutionary, lofty objectives. The overall economy matters to the working classes and poor.

But that doesn't mean I don't admire him as a Senator and surprisingly pragmatic politician who can address many issues without focus-group tested talking points. He's good for his state.

Mostly, if we can't get rid of Cult45, I wanna keep the House and win back the Senate for the sake of the planet and the next generations.

I think that post shows your politics well!

You seem to lack compassion for the poor and a misunderstanding about what it takes to help them.

That is a full blown Republican position!!

koan: "And what type of program do you think Bernie could get through congress"

Wharf:" Nothing.

koan: "Are you sure you just don't want progressives to raise taxes and use the money for more social programs for the poor?"

Wharf:" Yes. That's why I didn't vote for Bernie.
