No more than a Japanese banks have not yet written off bad loan that were non-performing a year ago.

Perhaps they would have beaten estimates as usual had they not had to adjust revenue. After all, the company did have huge year over year unit shipment growth, so a 23% Americas revenue gain seems a little strange. But, I admit, that is speculation. I accept the notion that Zip sales are floundering. (Yes, I know KE's explanation--i.e. that the disappointing revenue growth in spite of robust sales is because of OEM sales. Then again, this is the same man that says that Asia, which accounts for only a small portion of sales, was a big culprit in the shortfall.)
