In more than 60 years since I began investing, I cannot recall having seen a worse time for stocks.
I have been in the market for 58 years, so I have seen what you have seen except
for the '61-'62 crash. Got in on early June '62 and sold a stock for a quadruple a year
and a half later. Really wetted my appetite for more :-)

Am in cash and have been so for some time, before Covid-19 struck. Didn't like
the market then, don't like it now. I thought airlines would make a good trade and
a good investment, but changed my mind 2 weeks ago for reason: Message 32804348

I currently think they are NOT investable. HOWEVER, I think they are still good for
a trade. The government is not going to let the airlines fail (as mode of transportation)
and might lead to nationalism down the road. Before intervention, I would expect the
airlines to bounce at least 10% from their lows, my criteria for a trade.
