A lot of the mistakes he made could have been avoided had he not resisted "shelter-in-place" until it was too late: CNN - New York governor dismisses possibility of shelter in place order after mayor urged New Yorkers to prepare for it It's clear to me that, early on, the death rate was directly tied to hospital capacity and the fact that we didn't know how the F to deal with it. Now that we do, and now that hospitals these days are better prepared, the rise in COVID-19 cases aren't as big of a worry. (To be sure, the rise still worries me, but at least the risks are better understood.) Tenchusatsu
