My position is and has been that there is no evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks in the sense that it is being done improves the outcome. Not saying it doesn’t, or that it does, simply that there is no established science tho suggest it. And for that matter there is no solid evidence to suggest that wearing masks doesn’t actually make the risk of spreading the virus worse.

We simply do not know.

The claim by health officials that they help is scientifically unproved. Although, it is easy to get to that conclusion based on what Einstein would have called “religion” (that is, intuition or faith).
