Christine,

Chapter 11 is a strong possibility. But so is, IMHO, a strategic partner. The question is, as time continues to run out, which one is most likely to occur? At this point, I continue to be very hopeful that, if a strategic partner is not found within the next three weeks, CAI's $25M investor will take into consideration the company's progress in finding such partner (provided CAI is really, really close) and grant CAI an extension of time for repayment of the notes due 2/20/98. At such point, the $25M investor (FIDELITY MANAGEMENT & RESEARCH???) could also make additional short-term funding available to CAI.

The other issue is BANX. Could BANX also be willing to grant CAI an extension of time to exercise the option which expires 2/28/98?

Other quick-cash possibilities:

- sale of some assets.
- a bail out by CS Wireless.
- a mysterious white knight.

Other things to watch for:

- positive reply comments in the 2-way MMDS proceeding due 2/9/98
- final list of LMDS bidders next week
- news about CS Wireless launching its digital wireless cable system in Dallas
- news of possible agreements between Telquest and other wireless cable operators

I hope this helps.

Z
