This is ridiculous and repulsive. They were the first to get hit, they learned more about what to do in time. You are looking at cumulative deaths; that is deeply misleading. It is true that NJ is still having problems, but the others aren't. Looking at cumulative deaths and cases obscures the fact that not many people are getting infected now.

They simply let everyone get infected and killed everyone that was weak. So, surprise, surprise, they don't have very many cases now, because they already infected everyone that could be infected.

"let everyone get infected and killed everyone that was weak"--what a stupid and repulsive way to look at a virus. What will you say if they have a second wave, which may well happen because there are plenty of states that aren't following proper procedures and are allowing the virus to spread? That more people were "weak", lol? What will you say if you get sick? That you are "weak"?

"They simply let everyone get infected". Regarding NY, I watched Gov Cuomo daily briefings and his and his staff's efforts to control the virus. They did not simply let people get infected. Where did you ever get such an opinion as that? I could maybe understand an opinion that they, the governors and staffs, were slow, incompetent, befuddled, something (which I don't agree with either) --- but that they "simply let everyone get infected" --- that's crazy talk.
