One essential failure has been I corrected misrepresentations that have caused people to believe one of the safest proven drugs on the planet would kill you. Trials that would have been done before now have been cancelled because patients had been misled into fearing participation. People rarely die from taking properly dosed HCQ. As in almost never. There were people literally poisoned to death in a Brazilian trial. And there were people who were dying from Covid when they began where their deaths were a result of Covid but attributed to HCQ. In those cases they were never going to survive. The VA “study” was a national embarrassment. The upshot is this and I believe it makes total sense: HCQ has been known to kill Coronavirus for a long time. Zinc has been known, if it gets into the cell with the virus, to stop or slow replication. HCQ allows Zinc into the cell. If you start HCQ and Zinc early, the virus will never reach a critical mass. Doctors in NY consistently said the patients were dying of cytokine storm, which which essentially causes a massive inflammation attack wheelchair then causes death. They key to stopping it is to get control of the replication early so it doesn’t escalate to that level. I don’t understand all that but it is a layperson's interpretation of what I’ve read. All that makes really good sense. But then, in the trials it works that way as well. Zelenko's protocol calls for immediate evaluation and treatment of patients who are in a risk group. Patients who are young and healthy are not treated unless their illness progresses, because they’ll get better on their own. Old people and others who need treatment are started immediately before testing. Zelenko has explained that the critical mass of viral load is reached in five to six days. If the patient calls for an appointment, seen the next day, tested, wait on results, your five days are gone and you’ve potentially killed the patient. You put them on the medicine instantly if the doctor determines they likely have it and have reasons to think they might not be able to overcome it. These guys are not quacks. But they are being made out to be.
