The numbers are phony anyway.

What do you think of this? Take a number between 100 and 1000 and add 'new cases' after it in say Google search. Then take the next consecutive number, then the next and the next and do it 5 or 6 times and look at the results and you will see how they arrive at these insane numbers. Explain that!
