Had to come back to pick up another ladder and checked my mainframe forcast.

It's calling SPX support at 977.5 and resistance at 981 for the remaider of the day.
Fifteen minutes of trading within 1/2 point since bond close.....hmmm

In what respect does the DOW's relative weakness worry you? IMHO, this is not a sign of the rally's poor quality, because the KO/G/MRK-types are strong. I think Big Oil is weighing down the DOW, and that does not seem bearish in a general sense.
