David -

We actually talked to Identix through A&C on this one. We were assured that at present RJM has only a small piece of the contract, which is verified by the amount of the contract. We assumed that RJM was a wannabe because this was the only press release on their website. If they were a gang member they would have more press releases. Heck, even NRiD has more press releases than RJM.

Yes, you are a millionaire in Japan and you may be even better of in Indonesia. Speaking of Indonesia, according to the 5/20/97 press release, IDX installed 1000 TouchlockIIs in Fall of 1996 and "several hundred" for $1.75 million in May 1997 through October 1997 at the Bank Central Asia (BCA). BCA has 600 branches in Indonesia. I sure hope we got paid.

David,

I was worried when I found the RJM site also. Then I converted the yen into dollars and made a few phone calls. Not even worth informing the Commission about.

NEC will do well in Japan......They are a Japanese company. I doubt that Unisys and a German company are going to walk away with a 100 million dollar Japanese IT contract. The 1200 or so 10 printers needed for the project are estimated to cost about $50 million.

I believe representatives from IDX are in Japan regularly. I believe IDX will be involved in the project.......It is a wait and see.

In the mean time...go to the RJM website....If you go through the whole thing, you will find a picture of their 10 printer.

To me...it looks alot like the Tinman from the Widard of Oz. I can't fathom these machines being picked by the Japanese. They are really very ugly.
