Well, Tommie, economic populism has been a massive failure, so, I guess left-wing socialism is up next!

"Bannon’s prediction that the US will have either far left-wing socialism or economic populism has been vindicated."

Maybe we'll switch to FLWS in Jan, cuz economic populism ain't doing so good.

Strikes me that the US needs a “time out” from extreme views as the country is so clearly and dangerously divided. Maybe a “cool down” President like Biden (not the ideal choice) is just what your country needs.

It will give the US 4 years to reassess the common goals of the (quiet) majority of your population instead of zeroing in on the goals of vocal but essentially minority groups.

"Democratic Liberalism lost the argument" What?

Liberals always win. Always. It only takes time. Didn't we push global warming, gay marriage, healthcare reform and re-regulating the banks? Didn't Obama pass or support all four?

I get a kick out of the party that never gets anything done telling us we failed when we actually got things done.
