so we enjoy the bone throw I don't understand that - that we are "enjoying" anything. My point is normally all procedures are adjusted down to a "reasonable" charge that the insurance company pays the provider and says that's what this is worth and that is what we are paying you. The provider accepts that. Everyone realizes that when we see a bill for services and thinks wow, that is outrageous, but then we see the adjustment down. In this case, our "benevolent government" has agreed to pay 100% of whatever someone wants to charge for a COVID test. No one is questioning the outrageous procedure charge. Of course that is really easy with our own tax dollars........
