I wired the last house we sold and had the price bid up above the asking. The person who bought it works for CRUS and was and is totally jazzed with it. He bid against a person moving in from Conn. who was in management for PNY a memory maker.

I will not risk leaving out this type of wiring in a new home or a remodel.

I ran multiple pairs (six pair)of phone and a coaxial to each and every room. All were home runs back to an exterior accessed mechanical room were I mounted a punch down block for the copper and left the coaxial stubbed out with excess slack.

It is very simple to do and inexpensive. Anyone can do it with very little instruction. The main thing is to run home runs to each location and not daisy chain it. Have all electrical wiring installed first. Don't run communication wiring parallel with elec. wires or separate them as far apart as possible and cross elec. at right angles. Use the correct wire and gauge for the length of run and the type of use.

Sorry you asked huh?
