Remember 2018? The Fed raised rates a tiny bit and lowered its balance sheet and all the indexes collapsed. As soon as the Fed reversed course the markets went back up. Everyone wants free money. You, me, the markets, the rich, the poor, everyone. Republicans want all of us to be dependent on them for welfare. Fixing this will be a Herculean task but we have to look at history. Republicans don't have the balls to do anything that might cause them to lose an election. Dems do it all the time. So given the choices I'll stick with the party that raised taxes and balanced the budget and not the party that lied about balancing the budget for decades.
