Locogringo, I too am pretty frustrated with the closures.

Here in California, we were successful in flattening the curve, as opposed to New York, our fellow left-wing utopia across the fruited plain. Yet now we're dealing with a resurgence.

You would think that we Californians would be much better with mask-wearing and social-distancing than those oh-so-backwards rednecks in Texas or the batshit-crazy folks in Florida, but no. We too aren't immune from cabin fever and lack of common sense.

Maybe it's a cultural thing. Here in Santa Clara county, which is majority Asian, our numbers are low. Yet the local county officials are being VERY cautious in allowing businesses to open. Like even more stringent than Gov. Newsom.

Just this week, hair salons opened up on Monday, only to be closed again after Tuesday. Maximum jerkaround (tm. Bob Colwell, Intel Corp.). I felt bad for the lady who cut my quarantine hairdo, so I gave her a big tip.
