Such things can happen, and as Carol suggests, there may be dire circumstances of which we are unaware, although I don't think a small IRS debt would qualify. Since it seems to geed to be true, I think the company should explain it. IMO, you are right that the situation seems to good to be true and caution is certainly in order with BB stocks. However, sometimes situations do occur which are too good to be true. This could be one. Let's see.
