Jerry, - I have no idea why AMES was as weak as it has been. At 13-7/8, it is selling for ~ 9.5 X THIS year's earnings. I'm wondering if the market is anticipating the possibility of AMES closing some under-productive stores upon FY end, but it's just a wild guess. I will also guess you will be much happier in 3 -6 months.

Anything under $20 is a bargain for AMES long term, but in the short run I am looking to repurchase at $12 tomorrow or Friday. I sold my entire position last week thank goodness. The tape tells a story youll never see on the wire until its too late, and believe me- something is in the works here but whatever it is- its temporary...
