Bilberry,
I agree on the DARPA money. I believe that the money will be spaced and is ear-marked for XRL. I think that they could use the profit money portion from this project though. I think we are all in agreement that whatever happens that shares stay with the loyal investors. If these warrants don't get extended maybe those leftover Swiss units could be offered to the present share holders and warrant holders. This could be done when our annual statements are sent.

I believe we will get dilution no matter what we do. If these warrants don't get extended, there will be another offering.....and If we don't see a price of $6.00 by the end of the year this will all become moot, because most of us will be out of here.

I'm considering a class action against JMAR management because I hold them directly responsible for the lack of any substantial news for you , my friends, to discuss. Instead, you are reduced to gnawing over this unfounded warrant speculation as if it were a rawhide chew toy. Thank goodness this issue will be as dead as those warrants in only 14 more trading days.:^)

Bilberry;

Would you not include earnings from operations at .2 -.30 per share
(3.4 to 5.1M) and what about the possible sale of or part of Cats.
This is cash available for new products?

Warrants (JMARW):

One of the most important factors in the extension decision is whether JMAR is still in need of capital. JMAR's relevant comments about this were:

"In addition, the Company may require additional outside financing for some of its emerging products including

1) the continued development of advanced lithography light sources and workstations for the manufacture of new generations of higher performance semiconductor chips;

2) the ultra-precision manufacturing programs featuring the Britelight and Microlightsystems that utilize the Company's patented, new short-pulse laser technology for a range of near term advanced manufacturing applications; and

3) the Company's emerging Light Knife series of hand-held lasers designed primarily for medical applications such as needle-less blood sampling but which the Company believes can also be utilized in the dental and ophthalmic markets, as well."

"With receipt of the $3.4 million in offering proceeds, we feel that JMAR now has sufficient cash to adequately complete the development and introduction of our new proprietary Britelight laser products into the commercial marketplace. Britelight precision lasers, which have demonstrated unparalleled performance, are the foundation of JMAR's patented PXS X-ray lithography source and are the basis for our ultraprecision laser manufacturing systems, which we expect will make their debut in the marketplace in 1998.''

I did a little research as to what other companies have been doing in regards to their warrant expiration. I realize that this in no way implies anything about what JMAR will do. I just wanted to get some clues as to what other companies factored in to their decision.

I got a list of warrants that are/were set to expire in the first 2 months of 1998 from the following SI post"
