Flan, I'm with you on PDS. Those darn Canadian companies. I expect PDS to lag behind everyone on the way up when the time comes. It will take two things to happen for this sector to steer its way up:
1) mutual fund and hedge fund buying; and
2) momentum trader buying.

If anybody is buying right now, why would they want to buy a Canadian driller when there are plenty of land drillers to choose from in the US with better dayrate transparency. Do you know where does the growth rate of dayrate stand in Western Canada compared to Oklahoma? I don't know and I bet most fund managers won't bother to find out as well. However, the good news is value investors will pick PDS up sometimes, just later. Use PDE and GLM as a guide as to how bad PDS is performing. They should be trading close to dollar for dollar. This is how discounted PDS is. Just have to be super patient with this one. I hope you feel better.

Flan,

I noticed there was no RIG in your portfolio. Today was
a happier day for me largely due to my RIG position.
