Somehow I don't think so. But what I think matters little now, and we will know better in a month, and will know still more in two months. I hope the Great Rotten Orange has spent to get a really, really valuable clock, because he is going to get his clock cleaned. :) There will be this attempt and that attempt and all attempts will involve bluster, muscle and cheating --- the hallmark of all that is desperate and good and wonderful about people who want to have their own way, not really knowing to where that way ultimately leads. Re "Americans Say Blacks More Racist Than Whites, Hispanics, Asians" The wording of the statement says a lot. How about: "Americans say that elders dying of covid have lived better lives than they hope to live" "Americans mistakenly think Trump's creative interpretation of the world involves lies" "Americans feel great pain when their drones kill innocent children; when this happens repeatedly, they repeatedly feel great pain." To make a statement about a group of people in any kind of pain is impossible unless you have the opportunity to deeply experience that pain from within the group. Everything else is fluff. Pain and suffering are personal and transformative --- at levels in which people do not live in their everyday lives of distraction and commentary. And the action of that pain is carried in their genes over millennia, triggered by we-know-not-what,
