Good thinking. <smile>

I had to put fencing up on my raised bed gardens.

This spring I had a mama Racoon and four little ones walking around one of the raised bedst. One of the aggressive little ones had climbed the fencing and fallen in.

I got out there with a broom and bumped him in the butt for about 5-6 times.

Mama was herding the three on the outside, and growling at me while the little was screaming in panic.

He finally figured the wooden corners were the way out and got out without any harm done.

I haven't seen any of them since.

Last year I had to shoot two of them as they ate and pulled our flower pots every day for about a week.

I hate to kill any animal ,unless it is to harvest them and eat them - the way my Dad taught me to think.

I felt bad about that, but they were too at home with our back yard.

That is a much better way to deal with them - great idea.

Hot today with a nice rain last night.

The garden and ag crops are really growing nicely this summer today.

Enjoy the nice weather Doug!
