Great link Keith, thanks. I've got plenty of IP space, maybe I'll put up a Linux server. I've been keeping that on the periphery of my interests for a long time, but it looks now like a real competitor for anything else I might run on one of my Intel boxes.

Now that some graphics packages, java, netscape as well as the freeware for web server/RDBMS/UNIX/C++ compiler etc is on there, why not? A whole development and server environment, nearly free.
