Wharfie,
A lot of it has to be done at the local level, so some might continue.
That's the thing. In every single city where BLM protests are prevalent, Democrats were in charge and have been in charge for decades.

Never forget that the BLM movement started under Obama. Of course, the excuse back then was, "Oh, we didn't have control over Congress or the Supreme Court at the time."

Back to the local level. In Portland, the protesters are demanding that Mayor Wheeler resign. There is no indication that he will, not even if the Mango Mussolini is removed from power. No is there any indication that the protesters will drop that demand. To them, Wheeler is too "moderate" for their tastes.

Wishing for all of this to go away when the Democrats are in charge is an exercise in denial. There's just no appeasing extremists, even if you hand each one a "reparation check" for $10,000.
