Welcome David. Don't be so sensitive. They didn't mean to give you a hard time. Just come in and enjoy the company. Anyone with 30% of their portfolio in intc has to have some good qualities.

David, You weren't around at the inception of this thread. It is meant to be a place to relax, discuss Intel and other topics if desired. It was started because some people became irritated on the main Intel thread when other subjects were discussed... for example, "We both like Intel, what else might we have in common?" All the people here have known each other a long time and have been through lots of ups and downs. I think SI is attracting alot of newcomers and you're welcome to post whatever you want, but you need to understand the history... Regards, Diane (Also heavily into INTC)

Hi David, sorry for almost being attacked. Frank will have to call those dogs off in case that's what Ann was talking about. But I see she had a smiley face behind it. So the dog theory may be assumed also. Remember, no assumptions? If you have been reading this thread as long as you say you have, you should know that we really don't do it, maybe think about it if we feel that WE are being attacked.;) I was just going to write that this is an off topic thread also and we don't have to mention a stock. Like Eliz said, there is a regular Intel thread but we discuss other things there too as far as Asia, politics etc. is concerned. It affects our stocks too. Anyhow, after Eliz wrote that post and nobody replied I guess the gossip went rampant. gg. You know the saying: When the cat is gone the mice play? As far as my comments are concerned I will have to stick to them. There are many, many posts on other threads, that do not have an OFF TOPIC, that do not contain a stock but only insults and such. See, now we have at least 4 posts that don't contain a stock. The one that was written orig., Eliz's answer, your post to me and now my post to you. It adds up quick, doesn't it? If you are not turned off by our style we always enjoy new investors to the thread. (posting ones. I used to be a lurker all over, but not here) It's really not a sanctum, we like company especially if they post and do not just come on to give us a hard time. gg. So pl. forgive us all and join in. David, I sincerly apologize for being so rude. Sorry we all got off on the wrong foot with you and the other new commer (to the thread). We usually welcome new people, but in your first post (at least the first one I had read) I felt our style was were being attacked. I am usually pretty good about keeping my temper to my self, but in my post to JT it slipped out. As you have noticed, alot of us have been posting to each other for a long time and I guess when we perceive a threat we all stick together. I rarely go over to the main intel thread since it has gotten so nasty. Please accept my apology and don't stop posting/lurking we all value new opinions. Have a great day!! Take Care Ann P.S.
