Ron, Short interest: I download the short interest for the entire NASDAQ market from the NASDAQ site and run some screens on it to find good candidates. The short interest is available to the news media before its put up on the site and expected publication date isn't always met. Does the WSJ site allow you to download the raw data or just search for a specific stock? For Jan the dissemination date for media was 1/27 and publication date was 1/28 but its not available yet.
