Are you saying the Power shares aren't registered? What role does 144 have?

Have you rec'd a buy-out prospectus ? There were 2 EDGAR filings

Here is the 12/11/97 S4 for $15.375/shr:

sec.gov

and the 2nd on 1/6/98 S4/A for $16.25 :

sec.gov

Is the price is fixed at $16.25 due to the amendment or is the closing date/price determined by the 1/26/98 vote date ?

Are Power's shareholders satisfied ? What are Power's plans ?

Many thanks,
Jim K.

PS: In addition to $100 mln in AAPL stock Power was paid $25 mln for certain assets (equip., marketing info, patents, etc.)

- plus a $25 mln loan was made to Power which must be paid back to AAPL within 5 days of the closing 1/26/98
