See my FB post from October 6, 2017, related to duckweed which I grow on my balcony since 2007 and add it to my omelets. The flowering plant doubles in mass every 48 -70 hours and splits in normal spring summer time.

Found no investor to commercialize my vision, so I use it for myself.

Recently was found that the small flowering plant contains OMEGA 3 and possible active Vitamin B12.

But the best thing about duckweed is that it is also edible for humans. Duckweed resembles in taste to watercress or spinach. The protein content of duckweeds is comparable to that of lupins beans, rape (Brassica napus) or canola, or peas, with a protein yield of 30% of dry weight.

The Wolffia genus has traditionally played a role in Asian cuisine, where it is used as a nutritious vegetable by the Thai, Burmese, and Laotians.

Duckweed as it is commonly called was shown to contain approximately 750 % of the US recommended daily value of the bioactive forms of Vitamin B12 (per 100 grams of dry plant).
