Hi Redhead,

Not one of the offical Amigos, but I'd like to comment on LIFC, if you don't mind.

Reading the press release allows for some excitement, however, as you noticed they did not include any bottom line. First call and Zacks project .20 loss for the last Q, not yet reported. Once the real numbers are and they are positive, then I'd get excited.

In looking at the charts, month, week, day, 60 min. all show a decreasing RSI and momentum. The day chart, short term shows today's close just under the short term moving average. All others also show trading under the time frame dMA. The stock is somewhat over sold and may very well move up some on good news. I would expect the price to base for a while until the hard numbers come out. Hope this helps, I could be totally wrong too.

LIFC..... Hey Red, I did some looking and I think he is right when he says longshot. From what I got from yahoo and info on insider activity
I would be concerned. It looks like they have had an additional 4.5 million shares hit the market recently

biz.yahoo.com

biz.yahoo.com

I would think this would put tremendous pressure on the stock.

As far as insider stuff, the chairman of the board owns 175k, an officer owns 101k, and the vp owns 13k. There has been some institutions buying in September (before the share increase announcements, can't tell if they sold or not) of approx.455k shares
Allstate has sold 620k shares besides the 555k they sold in December which I'm pretty sure were the share from the overalottment. They still have 889k shares but it looks like they have been actively selling since June of 97.

I didn't read any of their filings. A good place to get acompany profile and their filings is at,

freeedgar.com you will get the most information from the profile and the latest 8k filing.

hope some of this helps

Cary
