Steve, re your insider trading you've been following: (the following from the insider trading site) WINSTAR COMMSWCII Dollar Value 33,626,582 Shares Registered 1,353,528ÿ Number of insiders 4 - U,N,N,U Share price when registered 24.84 Insider Relation Codes: A - Affiliated person. B - Beneficial owner of 10% or more of a company's shares. C - Chairman. D - Director. F - Chief financial officer and/or treasurer. G - General Partner. H - An officer with 10% or more of a company's shares. L - Limited partner. N - None. This code is only found on Form 144 filings, and relates to the fact that not all owners of unregistered shares are insiders. O - Officer. P - President and/or chief executive officer. S - Shareholder. T - Trustee. U - Unknown. Usually the result of a form that was not filled in properly. V - Vice President. ________________________________________________ Note that none of the registered sellers (U, N, N, & U) at this time appear that they have anything to do with the company. They could be mutual funds. They could be someone (such as Dennis Patrick's old company) that received shares in a takeover. There's probably any number of reasons. But whoever's selling doesn't neccessarily look too smart. Note that they registered to sell when the stock was at 24. If they sold somewhere around there, they lost $10 in a stock that was obviously very hot, and obviously (to me anyway) heading up. Anyway, until I see Rouhana is selling, or at least the CFO, officers, or VP's, I guess I won't worry about it. Could be too many things that don't say anything about the company.
