This is a no-brainer: it is FDA approved, safe in consultation with your doctor and in known-safe doses, and known to be an effective antiviral against at least some coronaviruses, and some evidence it is effective against Covid specifically. Sooo.... why not take it if you are high risk and your doctor gives you a prescription? And if there was even an off-chance of saving thousands of lives... why would you say no? Bizarre.
