Yes, I see a number of restrictions in other states will expire (come up for review) in the days after the election - DC will go with virtual learning instead of actual attendance until Nov 6....Colorado counties have mask mandates until Nov 4, etc...could they be any more obvious?

Family went to N. Coast for the week (ignoring the still in place stay at home mandate). Mendocino Co. has mandatory "cloth" face masks for those older than 12....because 12-year olds/younger cannot contract/transmit COV19 I guess. You have to wear a mask into the outdoor seating area of the restaurant's (those still in business - I'd guess half didn't make it), but as soon as you sit down, you are no longer a menace to society and can take them off.

We saw high levels of mask compliance - say 80%+, but low levels of effectiveness....lots of bandanas that people pull up as needed, but drop otherwise (almost no filtration), elastic coverings which people wear around their necks and pull up as needed, ...clearly not meant to filter anything, people wearing masks on chin or mouth only, people with beards/facial hair, plus the standard, ill-fitting hospital masks they hand out/N95's with vents, etc.

I had my cloth mask and used as mandated if I went indoors, but thinking about Ski's perfume test, my sense of smell was not impaired much at all.
