Thanks, Gary. The estimate that testing for compliance will account
for 60% of total Y2K outlays is eye-catching. The fact that so few
companies apparently do it is surprising -- makes for a powerful
market niche. In addition, I read long ago that SunGard, Comdisco,
and perhaps others would only test for regular disaster-retrieval
customers. That further narrows the critical Y2K service niche.

If MERQ is attracting Y2K-compliance customers, they should
experience a strong run-up in revenues beginning perhaps later
this year, maybe before. Strategia is still a mystery -- they apparently
have invested heavily in building infrastructure to handle lots of
new customers, but I've heard of no meaningful deals.
