Thanks for the post sandy. Unfortunately, since we don't know what the expectations were, "meeting expectations" tells us absolutely nothing. (Farrell tends to be very cautious so he may have had low expectations.) As you point out, Farrell's comfort with earnings estimates does tell us something. Farrell is quite aware of GKM's estimate of 50 cents for the 4th quarter. (That estimate is coming from Sean McGowan, who is video-game analyst of the year or something. I think Farrell gets along well with McGowan, but I have zero evidence for that other than voice inflections from the tape of that small cap conference we heard a while back.) Anyway, that Farrell is comfortable with 50 cents tells me the earnings will be above that figure. (GKM estimated 16 cents last qtr; earnings were 20 cents.) I'm going to estimate 60 cents for the quarter. Wade
