Romney could do the job of president better than any other Republican I can think of except Jon Huntsman.

But the party never liked him, even when he won the nomination. He was their last choice, after all the others were seen to not be viable candidates.

And Huntsman was at about 1%.

I was just saying what I thought would happen, not what I like.

Nikkie Haley might be one candidate they can rally around.

But The Republicans are a dead party.

Trump was not an outliar, he is the logical manifestation of the Republican party who came to dominance based on racism i.e. Lee Atwater's Southern strategy.

And now that Trump has shown the country what the true values of the Republican party are, it is a dead party which will exist on the far right, like the far right parties in Germany, Hungry, France and Poland, and be marginal.

The Democrats will have a landslide win in November, as I have been posting for a couple of years now, but I do expect a new party to rise up and be a true moderate/conservative party.

So we will have three main parties of left right and center, IMO.
