I guess.

I think the Republican party is too primitive and fascist for this modern era of intellectual and humanitarian awareness.

The people today cannot be fooled as easily as they could in the past.

Plus Trump has been a sort of Rosetta stone showing people what the Republican party represents and people are horrified.

So the women and kids have left the Republican party in droves and will not be back. One does not return to a party once they see how badly it has been behaving.

And the minorities only had their worst fears confirmed by Trump and the Republicans who support him; and of course the progressives never liked him :)>.

So the Republican party is doomed as a dominate party, IMO.

Why would anyone be a Republican after what we have seen the last four years?

The republican party will be relegated to a far right party like the far right parties of Europe e.g France, Hungry, Germany and Poland.

What would make anyone with good sense return to that?

All it represents is hegemony of 99% of the people by the 1% of the richest people.
