Gates started a pledge program several years ago. He asks billionaires to pledge 1/2 of their net
worth. There are approx 2100 billionaires in the world and approx 10% have made the pledge which at this time amounts to approx 1.2 trillion. Warren Buffet has already donated about 37 billion. Buffet and Gates
bring very different skill sets but both clearly are very invested in problem solving global challenges.
