hi jay happy to hear you are safe in vancouver. in a perfect world i might have been ale to visit my family there and finally been able to meet you and the children we have watched grow and mature into wonderful young people. i hope you are able to enjoy a couple of days in vancouver after your self quarantine period expires and before embarking on your trip home. my imac finally gave up the ghost and i am awaiting the arrival of my new macbook air. i’ll hold off watching the video until then as my viewing is now restricted to the tiny screen in my phone. after being covid free on haida gwaii we had our first case on july 17. as of august 2nd the tally was 24 cases; ten recovered; 14 active and 23 in self isolation. a new report will be coming out today. i fear things don’t bode well for the islands and its 4500 inhabitants. we continue to follow protocols and stay home as much as possible be well and stay save. rose
