"..Analysts said the company owns more spectrum - the electronic equivalent of real estate - than any other competitive local exchange carrier in the 38Ghz signal band. Beyond that, WinStar, along with Teleport, is "one of only two players with a national wireless footprint," said Riyad Said, an analyst with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co..."

(Rouhana:) "..The best way for us to proceed is to try to partner with one of the largest players." Potential partners could range from Bell telephone companies to cable companies or even Microsoft Corp., he said.
