Thanks. I was just watching a report on Syria today that said rampant inflation had wiped out savings accounts. Inflation proof bonds should hold up. They have done well lately. PMs are probably the best. We do have the question of the depression that Roubini is calling in the mid-20's. I remember 15 years ago the SI discussion of gold during the Great Depression. POG was fixed, so nobody had a definitive answer. Though a poster named Michael felt the miners did well.
