If this isn't a bottom in gold, then I'm blind.
I just got through looking at the stocks I follow and we are POISED
for higher ground.
It's "The Privateer's" contention that Aussie gold stocks lead
the US gold stocks.
Look at this:

(that big move on the right side of the chart was from this week, alone!!!)
Maybe the reason Sel Precious is beating Sel Am. Gold is because
those stocks are foreign stocks and therefore denominated in foreign
currencies. Remember, almost all other currencies are very low
vs. the dollar.
Maybe we should be in Precious Metals and not Am. Gold (????)
...But, Am. Gold usually catches up at some point (????)

Francois--the market and gold are not necessarily linked. As the $US weakens against the Yen, we see gold go up. Also, as the 30 yr. long bond yield increases we see POG increase.
