Mark et. al.,
I've been tracking the TA on this stock since Feb. '96 when at 3. Since mid summer I've enjoyed reading this thread's contributors' fundamental discussions as a sentiment barometer. Probably the company's strong fundamental factors are what kept me in MTIC through the dulldrums of late spring right up until the extreme October volatility. Needless to say the experience was rewarding from whatever side you choose to make your investment decisions in that it was the 7th best performer last year at +400%.

Leaning toward TA for making final investment decisions, IMO what happened prior to and since earnings this week might partly be explained by Duncan's observation. But on a TA basis there has been a repeat of events previously noted in my post last September to Bronco, whom I recall claimed to pull a quick long/short position switch with perfect timing. Brad has some made some legitimate points of longer-term validity, but this stock has clearly defied most standard trend analysis. The major moves from July until the end of October were heavily influenced by short-term momentum traders. A NAZ listing is no prerequisite for that sort of thing and the lack of which actually probably helped amplify their effects. Also, I suspect Navallier's July endorsement was fairly influential considering the limited coverage this company has received from brokerage houses.

The fundamentals are still definitely in place for further appreciation, but until certain technical reversals take place don't expect to experience a replay in the magnitude of July - September this past year without the influence of the momentum folks. A listing might serve as a substitute, but don't disregard the potential of both value and technical (momentum) aspects in the final price action when making investment decisions.

Best wishes to all.

Mark, I'm telling you. You're wasting your time with Brad. He's a novice. I know him. Just ignore him!
