All of it is disappointing and disturbing. Received today the current paper copy of the NEJM. For some reason, they printed the prevention protocol study that was online on July 23, I think. Since I was already into it, decided to read it again. It’s junk. Randomized, controlled, double blind... junk. Nicely Written, though. Stats and everything. About the epidemic, I’m generally optimistic. It seems to be “over the hill” - looks the top is in, in many, maybe most places. Have to be patient at this point. And the outlook with the vaccines is surprisingly good. The media is going nuts, of course... their king making plan may get jeopardized.
