"would you just let it go as the Democrats want to do?" If we, as a country, had done what the mayor of SF did to stop the spread, and put Pelosi in charge of the printing press and testing testing testing during that period, things would be getting back to normal.

You always dodge the significant issues. So says the artful dodger. Your skills at projection are phenomenal. One thing we could have done differently is to have a plan and executed on it. A policy of "every man for himself" means a lot of waste. Another would have been not to assume the virus would be restricted to blue states. Also, opening too early was a bad idea, especially pushing people to ignore the guidelines for reopening. I could go on. The fact of the matter is that we did very little in the way of addressing the issue in a responsible manner. And here we are.
