Oh wow, Trump the Savior! I see why God sent Him to us! I'm voting for The Donald now! Yeah!

It wouldn't surprise me if Trump instructed Meadows and Mnuchin to refuse to compromise with the Democrats so that he could either be The Great Negotiator who Wins or The Great Savior who fixes what others cannot do.

Never mind that he has about the same authority as you and I do to do these things. It will be spun as the Democrats don't allow him to fix things and give out money that he doesn't have. Or to give them money now [that psst they will have to pay back later].

As usual, he just continually spouts out lie and after lie.

WTF happens when the 'deferred' FICA taxes get turned back on? Which they will. I've read that employers are likely to keep up their contributions because of that, but will all the workers get it drawn out of one check? What happens?

It helps me not at all, since I pay the gummint all that every year in one lump sum.
