I knew that CSCO is working on the next gen. of RAC to be announced in Mar-Apr 98 time frame. Although the new RAC is still behind the TNT, I am afraid investors will have a knee-jerk reaction to this news. After all the hoopla wears off, ASND is still the market leader in terms of ports shipped, in terms of rev. is still debatable. So, I pre-announce this so that investors here won't be suprised. As ASND keeps innovate the TNT, it will maintain a distance from the pack. As you point out about the voice module to be announced in 2Q98 by ASND, the central-office certified TNT and DSL TNT will help ASND sell into CLEC and RBOC market. Mike has had extensive connection in this area thereby helping open new doors. ASND is also working on combining TNT w/ GRF, the first in the industry. In the future, the CO will be combined w/ the POP, making RAC+router combination even more crucial.
