A test like that could open new ways of controlling the pandemic - and running businesses safely. A small businessman potentially could afford testing employees daily. A hairdresser could get tested daily - and even offer a free test to customers. Protect employees and customers. That said, maybe it won’t be so important going forward - if the disease burns out. OTOH, there would probably be room for it, for some time to come.

He makes a good case for the test - it’s not as sensitive, but if you want to catch the period when the person spreads it the most - timing is more important.
