I think that is more a case of the basket of currencies which is where that number comes from were all debasing more than the US. That, and it was the end of the bull last time, and this time it is just the third inning.

Right now, I think the dollar will provide temporary headwinds, as it bounces perhaps against the Euro at least, and then it will provide some really nice tailwinds soon as the dollar printing profligacy and constant executive chaos comes home to roost.

But the dollar index effect ain't what it used to be.

Yes it's a big difference alright

so what makes todays markit price is totally controlled by what the FED
buys/sell, i.e. stocks/bonds/etc.etc........they never buy metal ETF's that's heresy.
