The EMA is calculated more accurately as to nearly sync with MSWIN and WOW values when laoding more data due to the nature of the EMA formula calculation and the way it was implemented in the program. I haven't determined an exact percentage, but it does become apparent on the QP display when supposed scan output crossovers don't appear on the monitor, missing by a couple days on some intermediate indicators. It might seem similar to your OBV problem before merging the indicator scales, but in this case it is all in the program implementation and not really a user error. Data loads set around 200 seem to make the discrepencies minor in 5 to 89 day periods. I think the differences become more pronounced the longer the indicator.

Chris,

The initial problem was partially corrected as far as I know. See the following for comments from Gary.
