Man, these TVs are irritating when they just don’t do what they’re supposed to do.

I have a new LG model 7070.

It has an app ThinQ which is both on the TV, and I’ve downloaded that appto an iPhone and an iPad.

All devices are connected to the home WiFi.

The ThinQ app allows you to stream and do various interesting things to the TV.

But when I use ThinQ on the iPad or iPhone to “see” the brand new LG 7070 TV, neither see it.

Since they don’t see the TV, the apps can’t do anything to the TV.

I’ve also got a new Echo Dot, with Alexa.

I’ve connected the Alexa to the ThinQ app. That’s supposed to allow Alexa to control the LG devices in the home.

But neither Alexa nor ThinQ Can see the TV.

All devices are on the same home WiFi network.

Any suggestions for how to get anything to “see” the brand new TV?
